PomoTasks is designed to function with minimal data collection. To provide my timing and productivity services, I may collect the following:
- Local Usage Data: Timer settings, task lists, and session history are stored locally on your device via Chrome's storage API.
- Account Information: If you choose to sync data across devices, I collect your email address and basic profile information via your Google account.
- Extension Performance: Anonymous crash reports and basic telemetry to help me improve the tool's reliability.
02. How I Use Your Data
The data I collect is used exclusively to provide the core functionality of PomoTasks. This includes maintaining your timer progress across browser restarts, syncing your tasks if enabled, and providing you with productivity insights based on your session history.
I do not use your data for advertising, nor do I share it with third-party marketers. Your productivity habits are your own business.
03. Data Security
I implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All communication between the PomoTasks extension and my servers (for sync features) is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. Local data is subject to the security of your own device and Chrome profile.
04. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can clear your local storage at any time through the extension settings. If you use the sync feature, you may request a complete deletion of your account and associated data by contacting my support team.
